During my medical school interview at Marshall University, I was able to observe and hear about a program in which exceeds kindness towards the community. Throughout several other programs across the country, I have yet to observe one that interacts and gives back to the people of the town. The medical school has a program called Marshall Medical Outreach in which one Saturday a month, the medical students volunteer their time and set up a mobile clinic. This clinic is one that provides healthcare to the homeless community and allows them to establish care. Although there is not one person that can be singled out for their kindness, I have decided to give my band to the upcoming head of the program.
